N HOUSE – A CONTEMPORARY REAWAKENING ABOVE THE CITY
Perched on the serene outskirts of Guatemala City, N House emerges as a bold transformation that redefines the potential of residential renovation. Originally built with outdated infrastructure and finishes, this home underwent a comprehensive reinvention led by TORUS, combining deep technical upgrades with a refined architectural language.
The intervention involved essential infrastructure work and a full modernization of the building’s envelope. The facades were reimagined with clean lines and natural materials, anchored by striking corten steel doors that signal a contemporary, grounded elegance. Natural stone cladding, new hardwood flooring, and updated lighting introduced a warm, tactile palette, harmonizing with the surrounding landscape.
Inside, the transformation continued with a fully redesigned kitchen, state-of-the-art bathrooms, and bespoke closets—each space marrying function with timeless sophistication. N House is not just a remodel; it is a reawakening—an architectural statement that blends modern living with material honesty, perched above the vibrant energy of the city below.
