TORUS was founded on a conviction that most practices avoid: that great architecture has to work financially before it can work spatially.
Since 2015, we've designed and built projects across commercial, residential, hospitality, and institutional markets — in Guatemala, across the region, and internationally. What stays constant across every typology and every scale is our process: rigorous, integrated, and built around the reality that our clients are making significant investments that have to perform.
We get involved early. We ask hard questions about feasibility, program, and budget before we touch a pencil. We coordinate design and construction under one roof so nothing gets lost between what's drawn and what's built. And we stay until the last detail is resolved.

SULA Market redefines the dairy experience in Honduras. Designed by TORUS, the concept blends farm-to-table architecture, vintage-inspired branding, and a unique fusion of market, café, and drive-thru—offering paninis, milkshakes, and more in a warm, contemporary setting.
Organic Skyscraper London — Vertical Green Urbanism
In collaboration with Cole & Goyette, TORUS developed a competition proposal for an Organic Skyscraper in London. The design reimagines high-rise architecture by integrating green space across multiple floors, promoting urban biodiversity, wellness, and a new vertical relationship between nature and the city.
Trees of Memory — 9/11 Memorial in Atlantic City
Trees of Memory – Atlantic City is a memorial proposal developed in collaboration with Cole & Goyette to honor the victims of September 11. The concept evokes beams of light ascending into the sky through a forest of illuminated white poles, symbolizing remembrance, resilience, and collective memory. The installation is both contemplative and monumental, designed to invite reflection through simplicity and light.

Sustainable Home in Uganda — TORUS x Doris Cole
In collaboration with Doris Cole, TORUS designed a sustainable home for the Luggia family in Uganda. The project responds to the local climate with a sloped roof for heavy rainfall, solar panels for energy independence, and green walls to mitigate solar radiation. The home integrates passive design strategies to ensure comfort, resilience, and environmental responsibility.

Plantiful se concibe como una experiencia fluida donde arquitectura y operación convergen. Un espacio donde cada trazo responde tanto a la eficiencia como a la sensación, dando forma a un recorrido intuitivo, orgánico y envolvente.
El recorrido del usuario se organiza como una secuencia continua y legible. Sin fricciones ni interrupciones, el espacio guía de manera natural desde el acceso hasta el punto de consumo, optimizando tiempos y elevando la experiencia.
Detrás de la aparente suavidad formal existe una lógica precisa. Cada área responde a criterios de proximidad, visibilidad y funcionalidad, permitiendo una operación ágil, ordenada y altamente eficiente.
Las geometrías blandas y fluidas construyen una atmósfera acogedora y contemporánea. La arquitectura se aleja de lo rígido para convertirse en un gesto continuo que envuelve, dirige y conecta.
La materialidad, la luz y la forma trabajan en conjunto para crear un entorno inmersivo. Plantiful no solo se recorre: se siente, invitando a una permanencia placentera y memorable.
Cada decisión de diseño articula experiencia y operación como un sistema único. El resultado es un espacio donde lo funcional y lo emocional no compiten, sino que se potencian mutuamente.
